Two cards with a sun design and text on a white background

The questions you never thought to ask.

In Lak'ech is a deck of questions designed to take you somewhere real - with a partner, a close friend, a stranger, or yourself.

No rules. No score. No pressure to perform.

Just an honest question, a little courage, and whoever's across from you.

Card with silhouette of a person and colorful abstract design, asking 'What sets your soul on fire?'

"In Lak'ech" - I am another you. As you are another me.

It's an ancient Mayan phrase - a greeting and a philosophy. A reminder that the distance between people is mostly imagined. That when you truly listen to someone, you recognize something of yourself.

We built this game to create that moment of recognition. The one where you look at someone and think: I didn't know you felt that too.

Two people playing In Lak'ech at a table with cards and drinks.

There's never a wrong time for a real conversation.

With a Partner
Date night. Sunday morning. The drive where you finally say the thing.

With Friends
Game nights that go deeper than you planned. Wine nights that become something else.

With Someone New
Because the fastest way to really know someone is to ask them something real.

Alone
Use the cards as journal prompts. Some questions are worth sitting with.

In Lak'ech card with an illustration of stacked suitcases with a globe on top, against a blue background with travel lines and text that says If you had to live somewhere else, where would it be?

You already know how to do this.

Shuffle the deck. Take turns drawing a card. Answer honestly, or pass without explanation. Let the conversation go wherever it wants.

That's it. The cards do the rest.
